It'd be too inconvenient to code a truly random pattern, repeating
at later intervals is statistically more likely. Most thieves find anything
beyond stationary security measures to be utterly tedious.
Perhaps, it's fortunate you aren't like most thieves.
Are you going to prove to them they've just put millions to waste?
Tell Rusty to pay me back the 20 quid he nicked by the keyholder.

( no he's not. )
And was that a compliment? We're not like most thieves,
where's the fun without the risk? But you already know
that about me, so don't sound so surprised.
If you stop by, he just might.
WRONG ICON.
in The Sun, then.
[ if he was the type to add *sarcastically* at the start of his messages he would. ]
Dismiss any look of shock you may have conjured
in your head. It takes much more than that to "surprise me".
Is that a way to get me back into your schemes, Mr. Ocean?

( he hears it, anyway. and you love him :c )
I don't think we will hire Mr. Watson back. He is admittedly very
detailed, and obviously very good at his job, but he's not just
what we need.
But Mr. Holmes is very welcome in our ranks. Rusty and I appreciate
a third opinion. Even if it does come from a consulting detective.

I'm reasonably certain that any privileges I've earned
would be revoked by the yard. However, I've often thought I'd make quite
the remarkable criminal.
Convince me, Mr. Ocean. Do you mind if I make a few enquiries that Mr. Watson
could not?

( he hopes you know the rules, sherlock. if he doesn't want to answer he'll just lie c: )

Why crime?

When I play a game and make my bets, I bet with everything
I have and take everything back twicefold. Sadly, it's against
the rules sometimes.

No game is interesting without a fall.
[ Sherlock knows that a little too well. ]
I've observed a few things about you, Mr. Ocean.
It's curious that you've confirmed thrill over profit.

"Play the game like we have nothing to lose." Profit is
an incentive. You can't be a proper thief if you're not
attracted to shiny things.

between an elaborate crime and a sublime one.
He neglected to mention that there were rules apart
from: "Don't touch his food."
And have you profited from your recent - investment?
SH

The other rules are simply enough.
#1 Don't hurt anybody. #2 Don't steal from anybody who
doesn't deserve it.
The profits were satisfactory, yes. The Rolls-Royce will
have to be shipped overseas, of course. It's hardly
inconspicuous in an American suburban household, don't
you think?
